Just wanted to say hi again and to say im back on the brewing,
ive been watching the forum but havent brewed for a while,
i spat my dummy out a while ago,i struggled with brewing temps and stupidly forgot to add priming sugaron my last batch, so i had a stash of bottles containing flat beer, (not pleased)
i did however come across the Inkbird temp controller that i was fortunate to have won a while ago,(which is awesome),ive just ordered the wife a new fridge which means im getting the old one,Que Brewing fridge

i allso left some wows for far too long in the DJs and they were pretty disgusting ,,
but ive picked up my toys and put them back in the pram now,
and thanks to you guys keeping the forum going .i am feeling INSPIRED :thumb::thumb:
so just to say thanks guys, im back on it :thumb::thumb:

Welcome back!!

So whats first in the menu??
not sure yet,
ive done a few Smash before, but im feeling a little more confident with the brew fridge insight, so im browsing the Greg Hughes book to see what sounds interesting, my fav beer at the moment is the Iron Maiden followed by the Hob Goblin but im not sure how to go about trying something similar,

Well, assuming your flat beer hasn't been in the bottles way too long and you try one and it's still flat - you could just get a spare sanitised bottle, prime it with half a teaspoonful of sugar and carefully decant from another bottle into it. Then rinse out and prime the now empty bottle and poor in the next one.
Thing is, your beer might be flat but it isn't exactly dead either...

The ESB might be up your street?

I didn't think that would work, I'll try that 😊
