Atlanta beer #4 - Sweetwater 420

Extra pale, west coast style, bottled rather than draft. It was that kind of restaurant...

It really is pale, the sort of colour you get from an all MO brew. Nice and clean, crisp, just what you want from a west coast pale. A little over bitter perhaps but maybe that's sheer pickiness, just a handful of IBUs too much, if that. Hop aroma could have been zingier given the wealth of hops a brewer has to choose from, but again, I'm likely being over critical. Flavour-wise, excellent. Fresh and fruity, citrus - seriously dealt with the thirst built over a day of meetings...

Travelers to the US that pass through Atlanta can visit the Sweetwater taproom in the airport. I don't recall which concourse its in. That brewery has many fine beers. 420 is certainly one of my favorites.
