I'd be wary of using them for anything, except perhaps chance them in an extract brew. Although vac packed, 2012 is pretty old and unless I was confident they had been stored in a freezer, I'd be sceptical as to their quality. That packaging doesn't look very light proof either. Judging the remaining AA% will be tricky, and you won't know what condition the aroma is in until you open them and sniff.

They have been in a freezer but I might just chuck them,or could I use them for bittering?

I used Pacific Gem for bittering in Partial mash brews in 2015. If they smell dodgy when you open them I suggest chucking, but you won't know whether they are dead until you open the pack. Bit like Schrodinger's Cat.

Yeah, open the packet and give them a sniff - if they smell good use them for flavouring hops at flame-out. That way any reduction in alpha acids won't have a significant effect.

I guess I could try a 100g dryhop along with what though? I have Citra,Equinox,Galena,Saaz and Nelson Sauvin.
Just 4kg of Lager malt and cml Pale Ale and 2 x Kolsch yeast
