I now have 24 beers if my calculations are correct . Might not be able to do this in one night as planned, even with the 'help' I've drafted in.

Thank you everyone who entered the competition. Lagers are notoriously hard to brew well, and it is quite evident that we have some seriously good brewers on this forum. The standard was extremely high overall, and it was incredibly difficult to differentiate between lagers of various styles.

Anyway, in joint third place.....

@Musby Munich Helles - a lovely complex malty lager with a dry soft finish.
@Hazelwood Brewery Czech pilsner - a really clean, crisp good all-round pilsner
@Corbières European lager - a very pretty, well-brewed lager with a floral, sweet and malty bouquet

@dave_77 Italian Pils - a really clean, crystal clear, beautifully balanced lager

And in first place......
@matt76 Third Time Lucky Lager - this was just an incredibly elegant, well-balanced lager. Floral, herbal hop aroma supporting sweet grainy maltiness and a soft yet cleansing finish. Really clean and obviously well fermented. Well done mate
