I have fermented out an apple and damson wine have racked it and added kwik clear finnings what would be a normal lenght off time for it to clear and bottle .After 4 days it is still cloudy but has dropped some sediment .

I wouldn't usually use finings with something like that, would rack at 1 month, expect it to have cleared and rack again at 2-3 months, bottle at 6-12 months.

Sorry if that isn't what you wanted to hear ;)

Your right that is not what i wanted to hear but will have to be patient. So the best thing too do would be to put it in the garage now and leave it for a month? Or should i rack it again first ?it is 4 gallon of wine in a 5 gallon fv is the air space going to cause a problem ?

As you've already racked it once and added finings, just leave it alone for a couple of weeks. Garage would be good, if it doesn't drop too cold. Perhaps throw an old duvet or sleeping bag around it.

The air space is going to be a problem, next racking should be to 4 x 1gal.

Thanks will give that a try. Had a sample off it and it is very nice the cloudy colour is the only down side but another few weeks might make the difference to it.
