Anyone use this as a HLT or boiler

Its my 30th next week and wife was wondering if i need anything for my brewing and was thinking of getting a new boiler as i currently use a plastic bucket fitted with tesco elements the now. Anyone use this and can i produce a good rolling boil ?

It will be a little tight for 23ltr brew lengths, first wort hopping would be recommended.

what about 18/19 litres ? thats what i usually tend to brew to these days.

What have you planned for a hop filter? It's just that the tap/sight tube combo looks tricky to replace if you wanted to use a ball valve with an internal connection to a hop filter. If not, then pas de problem!

300mm of 15mm copper pipe, drilled with a million 4.5mm holes and stuffed in the tap outlet!

I usually put my hops in Muslim bags but I might try making a hop filter

Yes i bought it but it doesnt give arolling boil cuts out as soon as it starts boiling , so i have ordered a different thermal cut out switch that shouldn't cut out till 140oC so ill let you know in next couple of days how i get on with it
