@tonybaloni 50 units?!

EASILY?!?!

You're a machine!
It just doesn't seem to have the same effect on me for some reason I don't get hangovers very often either. It gets expensive. Strong beer costs a fortune & I can't stand spirits. My wife was a cheap date though. :D

Yep & I'm normally the most sober one. In fact I even cook fresh pizza or lasagne or BBQ for everyone whilst I'm on. It must be how I metabolise it or something.
I think I take after my granddad. When I was a young lad my favourite tipple was snakebite using barley wine. Weak beer seems to have no effect whatsoever which gets very expensive hence why I originally started brewing my own. I enjoy the brewing process just as much as the drinking. I see it the same as cooking which i also enjoy.

I think it's just a case of building up tolerance to alcohol. You can build up tolerance to be able to drink a bottle of vodka a day. If I went out and did that now it would kill me

It did eventually effect my health (Type 2 diabetes) Which I've managed to reverse with the help of my wife. I would suggest to anyone, " Just because you can, doesn't mean you should". Or risk the consequences.
