anybody got a recipe for elderflower cider i have a tree right out side my house it would be a shame to let it go to waste

Sorry mate, ive been searching the net for the last hour and still cant find a recipe. Why dont you just do what i do. Make it up as you go along!

I did a muntons autumn blush kit transferred a gallon into a DJ then added dry elderflowers then left it to ferment out . I tried it and its bloody awful  .Ive not been brave en ough to try it now its been in the bottle for 12monts .
My advice is be careful just how much elderflowers you add :thumb:

wow, thats a lot, for a mild flavour in my beer i'd add between 5g-15g for a 5 gallon batch. 20g in a gallon wouldnt be great!!!!

surly there would be a diffrence between fresh and dried tho

it doesnt matter to much now as till i find a recipe im leaving it for now and trying a cherry turbo cider

newbie here, I have made elderflower champagne and elderflower cordial this year. I assume elderflower cider is apple cider flavoured with elderflower? Elderflower is lemony and fresh and sort of perfumey, I would make cordial from an old fashioned recipe and add it to the brew at, say, half the concentration that you would add it to soda water or lemonade. I am guessing though.
