Hi, I'm looking to brew a lager. Now I'm not a massive lager drinker but I am partial to one every now and then, and it'd also be nice to have some in for when friends are round (so they don't drink my good stuff!)
So what I'm after is something between about 3.5-5% with a decent amount of flavour (not like carling, fosters, carlsberg, tiger etc..)
Vague, I know, but I'm I'm willing to try a few so any suggestions would be most welcome.

Thanks

to be honest my brother did the brewbuddy lager for bonfire night, it had a week in the keg after fermentation and we all drank the lot. i reakon your friends will appreciate anything, hahah. it was nice at the time!

maybe check out the better brew czech pilsner. it'll have some character, but be drinkable by the plebs.

My advise is a Coopers Euro lager as it comes with a lager yeast in the kit (though not enough yeast in my opinion), unfortunately you need to keep a lager with lager yeast at around 12oC and this will take upto 3 weeks to ferment out.
