Any good christmas recipes?

This smelled and tasted excellent going into the fermenters: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=46108

Would recommend a different yeast though (Wyeast 1007 doesn't settle out easily apparently..)

Not sure if you're brewing kit or AG but here's my festive crimbo bitter.

Brew a wilkinsons hoppy copper bitter as normal. Once it's finished fermenting rack into a clean FV, add in some pulped oranges, pulped ginger, couple of cinamon sticks, 5 cloves. Stir it up then leave it for another couple of weeks. Rack into a keg (straining out all the bits as you do so) and hey presto! A nice bitter with hints of christmas pudding. Did this last year and was very pleased with it so doing it again now.

I am liking the sound of that!

But can I just ask 5 gloves of what? Or am I having a blonde moment!
