Any free brewing software?

Does anybody use brewing software that is available free? If not whats the best value one available, ive heard of beersmith but dont really know what else there is, i think there are some iphone apps also if anybody has experience with them?

yes beer engine is good there is also brewmate they are both free downloads

i downloaded brewtarget but it was american and confusing. Brewmate is much better. :thumb:

If you want a quick "wonder what this will be like" brew Beer Calculus is also quite useful in that you don't have to install anything - just change it to Metric, add your grain and hops and see what the IBU/EBU comes out at.

No one ever mentions the "recipes" button on THBF. I've used it for nearly all of my beers. The only annoying thing is you can't edit hops after you've added them. It's really good for some quick calcs though.

EDIT: I do really like the look of Beer Calculus though. Just having a play and i'ts pretty sweet!
