Since my Oatmeal stout is finished I made an amber ale. Starting gravity of 1.040
Changed the recipe a bit and used 15g each of Goldings and Fuggles hops for aroma. Also added a small bit of sugar to bring the gravity up.
4.70 kg Pale Malt (2 Row) UK (3.0 SRM) Grain 92.2 %
0.25 kg Amber Malt (22.0 SRM) Grain 4.9 %
0.15 kg Wheat, Torrified (1.7 SRM) Grain 2.9 %
40.00 gm Target [11.00%] (60 min) Hops 44.3 IBU
15.00 gm Fuggles [5.00%] (10 min) (Aroma Hop-SteepHops -
15.00 gm Goldings, East Kent [8.30%] (10 min) (AroHops -
1 Pkgs SafAle English Ale (DCL Yeast #S-04) Yeast-Ale
Ended up with around 25L of wort.
