There seems to have been a glut of keezer/ kegerator posts recently and having previously been put off by a complete lack of practical skills I had not considered it. Anyway suddenly realised actually I have nearly all the parts some of which are not being used so let's give it a go.
I'm quite pleased with end result but I can tell you it was not plain sailing.
Some details:
Collar is studwork, stained with a woodstain and then sprayed with a colourless gloss coat. Could have gone for a taller collar and probably fitted an extra keg in but as things are its not too cramped.
Freezer I sprayed with stainless steel coloured enamel appliance paint. Top of freezer is blackboard paint lest I want to write the beers on at any point.
Put 3 regular taps and a stout one which means that one is always redundant as can only fit the 3 kegs.
Temp controlled by my old inkbird, sensor threaded through a small hole in collar
Arms for drip tray I tried to attach with rare earth magnets but despite them being really strong it just didn't work so resorted to some sticks like sh*t - seems to be fairly robust.
