amber cider

recently i made a couple of brews of cider OK i know they were from kits (john bull) but the have a very pale colour to them is there a way to get a good amber colour to them ? also if i make it from fresh apples will it naturally have the desired colour ?

Making cider from whole apples seems a bit laborious.... But thats the way cider is supposed to be made... just crushed apples....

The colour comes during maturation in wooden (oak) vats I believe :thumb:

My 6 month old cider from apples is rather pale. However it lovely and blinking strong. Stop being a woman and start drinking with your eyes :)
