Hey guys,
I have had my Mangrove Jacks Juicy IPA fermenting for 8 days now. I had planned to bottle this afternoon. One mistake I have made is I didn't take an original reading with the hydrometer.
As per instructions, I added the hops when the SG reading was below 1.020 and it's now been 3 days the airlock has NOT stopped bubbling, and continues to bubble constantly. Having taken a sample just now the sg reading is 10.009. The MJ Website doesn't provide a reading for this specific kit to be ready with Dextrose and only with their malt extract at 10.010. (What should my SG Reading be?)
Do I go ahead and bottle this afternoon?
The only thing i can think of, is to put bottling off for the day and check the SG tomorrow morning and see if it changes.
I also have seen on this thread (Mangrove Jack's Juicy session IPA) which has made me wander, is the greenish layer on the top meant to have settled to the bottom too?
