Alness Pale Ale - 23-04-11

I was hoping to head for the hills tomorrow but the forecast has changed and its now to be hissing down most of the day. So as I now have a free day I am going to put it to good use and get a brew on. Just a light session ale with a good hop character to see me through the short summer.

I'll get things kicked off when I get out my scratcher in the morning.

I managed to get my mash on for around 8:10am so not a bad effort.

Now its time for some tea and bacon rolls.

I'm really not sure how this happened. I was aiming at 1039 with 72% efficiency but got 1049 with almost 91% efficiency. I think I need to go and lie down.
