The items for sale are my tea urn boiler and mash tun which I used for my first 5 or 6 all grain brews and which coped well.
Boiler.
30 liter tea urn with bazooka screen hop filter fitted, auto cut out disconnected so it maintains a good rolling boil. The element is fully enclosed which means cleaning out is a doddle to do. Elegantly ( ) wrapped in insulation foam so undernea that it will be like new.
Its easily big enough to do 19 liter brews without any qualms and you can push to 23 liters with a bit of care and careful watching.
The only alteration needed is the changing of the tap to a better suited one which is easily done.

It was bought new from our sponsor.....

Mash tun
Again on sale now as when I bought it from them

It is complete with stainless steel false bottom and a tap.
It has been modified by me by insulating inside the lid with expanding foam.

They did me well until I got bitten by the shiny bug and upgraded, but as they are they are good pieces for anyone starting out in all grain.
Unfortunately I will not post the items they are for collection only from the Rotherham area, but I can deliver within 30-40 miles for anyone without transport.

Priced at £120 for both items

PM me if interested

Otherwise they are going in the loft for emergencies

Photos shortly

I have the same mash tun it's really versatile it's big enough to make a strong beer with batch sparging if you don't fancy fly sparging or you can just make more beer in one session.

I have not insulated the lid on mine but I fill the dead space with bubble wrap when mashing with 4-5kg of grain and it looses next to nothing over 90 mins so with the insulating it should be good.

At the price stated for both your getting a lot for your money, it would cost that for the mash tun alone.

Offer made and accepted on Mash tun. awaiting collection from new owner

Darn wish I'd seen this sooner. I'm only an hour away. :thumb:
If the mash tun falls through I will travel for both.

I'll keep you in mind and let you know as soon as possible...
