Returning to home brewing after approx 3 years break, mild success in the past but always had a yeasty taste to the final brew, the explosive resurgence in real ale drinking has been welcome in the dwindling number of pubs. My interest has been sparked again by a need to take plastic bottles into Glastonbury festival this year (no glass allowed), my answer is to brew and bottle my own
So I've got a Festival Premium Golden Stag Summer Ale in the FV and a St. Peters Ruby Red in the box waiting. First sample taste of the Stag is promising, already far better tasting than the kits of old and that's before hopping and bottling
It's going to be a great Summer's quaffing.
