Alcohol content

Can anyone advice me on how to work out alcohol content. I assume its done from the og and fg but iam unsure how to calculate it.

If you click the calculators button in the top left, there is a calculator there :thumb:

Just use the figures after the decimal point.
1.040 = 40 and 1.010 =10
Subtract one the other.
40-10 = 30
Divide by 7.46
30/7.46 = 4.02

ABV = 4%
