Hi all.

I started a coopers aussi lager yesterday but noticed this morning that the airlock wasn't bubbling....on closer inspection I noticed that the little grommit through which the airlock is inserted was not quite in place and when I pushed it in the airlock started bubbling away.
Since my brew has been sitting for 16 hours and ws not properly sealed - is it likely that too much air has got in? Could it be ruined?

Don't worry about it, there will be a layer of co2 sitting on top of the brew protecting it. I don't seal my fv's and don't have trouble

Hi Dermy.
I wouldn't worry about it, some people ferment with a towel over the bucket and all's well. :thumb:
