I stabilized my rhubarb wine today and added wine finings, I've still got it under airlock and I've just noticed very slight airlock activity still going on. I added one crushed campden tablet and one tea spoon of portassium sorbate, I also de-gassed the wine prior to adding the finings, what have I done wrong?

Racked and Killed several brews today and they all still twitch for a bit. Especially the WOW! Give it a swil daily for a day or to and then let it clear. Should be fine IMHO.

Are you sure it's not just thermal expansion of the air above the brew ?

I have a black cherry wine still quite active a week after adding finings and stabiliser and it's as clear as a bell. Today I moved it to my workshop and sat the demijohn on a piece of cold steel plate and within an hour the liquid in the arlock had levelled so I'm hoping to leave it there a while then syphon off.
