- last weekend i brewed a scottish ale ( 5%) but im quite keen to try to keeps some hops in it- normally would secondary for a week after a week in the primary with some dry hops but im going away for 3 weeks... i reckon i can get away with either putting into secondary +/- hops and then bottling when i get back or leaving in the primary-both would be in the few degrees above 0 garage,

BUT not sure which one though for max hoppyness???

- another option im toying with is crash cooling and bottling the lot (with a hop tea) so i can take some with me and enjoy it at its most hoppyness and i'll know its all tucked up and safe  (i find hop decreases after the 1 month mark so basically gone by the time i get back)

great thnx guys, hop tea it is- hoping u would say that, might have some drinkable ( if not perfect by christmas)- of to drag the fv off to crash cool now- or maybe ill wait till recover from the old luddite ale im attempting to drink (still a bit green :nah: ) but gotta to have a few cheeky pints so u know when its ready- answer not yet
