OK After a few trys at making AG beer using my wifes jam pan to mash and my dads old brewheat to boil the wort I have decided I need a better set up.
As I make small brews (23 L) is it best to buy a converted coolbox? If so can anyone recomend a good one?
Also I think I need to upgrade the bew heat as it only has a 500W element so again can anone recomend one.

First question is your budget.

I brew 23-25 litre and use the cheapest cool box I saw and wrapped with a camping mat.
Most posts here seem to favour tesco or asda kettles as a source of heating element.
As I had neither locally I went to an electric shop, their elements were more than their kettles :wha:
