My Thai wife loves British beers, especially dark ones (must be an anti-Singha thing). After we got married (St. Georges Day) I enrolled her as a joint member of CAMRA with me (I've been a member for longer than I care to remember) hoping to encourage her to enjoy drinking beer more. I don't think she needs any encouragement now, and after visiting the Great British Beer Festival this year and tasting an Italian bottled Milk Stout, she said she would like to try more of that type of dark beer. So have any of you gentlemen (or ladies) out there got any good recipes for a Milk Stout? I have already got some Lactose in stock, and would like a beer which is not too strong (around 4% maybe) and which can be bottled (around 20 litre length).

Thanks in-anticipation. :drink:
