My daughter is moving back with all her stuff for the next month or so, her house purchase has been delayed.
So there is going to be exactly no space for me to get a AG brew on but if I'm quick I might get a kit or extract/partial mash on.

I'm looking at a brew length of 10 litres (don't ask), has anybody got experience of the Brewpak beers of the world? Can you recommend the Stout or any of the others? I don't want one that takes too long to condition as I have no brew ready to drink.

Are there any better alternatives that will produce a better tasting beer? I'm partial or Badgers, Doombar, Budvar, Guinness, good lager, etc.

I have a Brewferm pilsner just finishing lagering at -1°C and I'm going to have to let yeast
carbonate it as I won't have time to get my Co2 set up to force carb it :(

Thanks for your help.

corrr...............

no help here then

Sod the politics I'm going to dump the 10 L volume, from the Coopers site I'm thinking of:-

AMBER DELIGHT PREMIUM PILSNER
A classic pilsner style, malty and clean tasting with plenty of bitterness and superb Saaz hop flavour and aroma.
1 can of Coopers Draught
800g Light Dry Malt Extract
300g Glucose or Dextrose
50g Cracked Crystal Malt
25g Saaz Hop Pellets

Done with Lager yeast and lagered at -1C

Or as it will be drinkable sooner :-

O’GAWD STOUT
Here is yet another great stout, malty with added hop flavour.
1 can of Coopers Stout
750g Light Dry Malt Extract
750g Dark Dry Malt Extract
500g Glucose or Dextrose
20g Fuggles Hop Pellets
If you have any spare yeast, you will get a better result
by using 2 identical packets of yeast instead of 1

although I may drop the dextrose as I don't want to fall down too often or many be the best bitter.

i have been brewing wilko stout at 4.5l as i dont have the space dont ask but i tastes ok. did one batch with coffee grounds 5 tsp in hot for 10 mins then added to the brew. coffee smell is there just like if you have walked past a coffee shop.

You could do worse than the Ritchies Festival two can jobs. They come complete with hops and everything...

...tasty beer too. :thumb:

I brewed the Brupak Belgium Christmas ale which was one of the best kits I did! If you have not decided I am sure the stout will be great!
