Ok I got around to trying this:

Lager experiment (German Pilsner (Pils))

Original Gravity (OG): 1.050 (°P): 12.4
Final Gravity (FG): 1.013 (°P): 3.3
Alcohol (ABV): 4.91 %
Colour (SRM): 3.2 (EBC): 6.3
Bitterness (IBU): 34.8 (Average)

80% Pilsner
10% Carapils (Dextrine)
10% Vienna

3.5 g/L Saaz (3.6% Alpha) @ 60 Minutes (Boil)
0.9 g/L Saaz (3.6% Alpha) @ 15 Minutes (Boil)


Single step Infusion at 66°C for 90 Minutes. Boil for 90 Minutes

Fermented at 10°C with Saflager S-23

As this was another overnight mash I dropped the lager malt to 4kg and still ended up with 25L at 1.050 anyway pics:

Started at 68c ten hours later at 7am this morning it was still at 57c so Im assuming it had a good few hours at starch conversion temps
