well thats my cherry popped 1st ag brew done and in the fv all went well had a few school boy errors that iv learnd form for next brew for example the brupaks electic boiler i have takes forever to boil the cold tap ater i used nest time ill use hot water speed this side up , also allow around 6hrs start 2 finish ,got something wrong on my volume as was looking for 23l and ended up with 20l so lost some through boil and hops and lastly most importantly make sure the girlfrend is out with the kids they didnt apreciate the fine smell my loveing brew was produceing my only worry now is iv never used a pressure barrel iv got the type that uses the small co2 bulbs but do i prime the barrel with suger first if so what kind and how much do i use as iv only ever used the cooper carbonation drops which iv still got shed loads of

ye its plastic m8 what do i prime it with like i said iv only ever used the coopers carbination drops so what do i use and how much do i use per ltr

bout 80g od sugar should be good for 20l, either brewing sugar or table sugar would be fine
 
It's been about 10hrs since u pitched my yeast at 20deg c as per burpaks instructions and there doesn't seem 2 be any action yet is this normal or have I done something wrong getting paranoid
 
I'm using my coopers fv so not got an air lock so only going on there's no foam yet
 
thats perfectly normal, leave it to do its thing it can take a couple of days sometimes to really get going, just dont be tempted to lift up that lid.
