Yesterday was a brew day.
Its a beer that ive brewed in the past and won a competition with at Morley Homebrew. Only this time I have changed the grainbill slightly to make it a lighter coloured beer.

Grain Bill:
5300g Marris Otter 82%
600g Carapils 10%
500g Light Crystal Malt 8%
Hops:
40g Chinook 12.5% 60min First Wort
35g Cascade Pellet 6.8% 15min
35g Cascade Pellet 6.8% 20min 80c Steep
35g Cascade Pellet 6.8% dry hop on day 7
Irish Moss 15min
Mash at 66°C for 75 minutes
Boil for 60 min. Add a pinch of gypsum at the beginning..
Yeast:
Mangrove Jacks Us West Cost
Ferment at 20°C
Brew to 30 litres
IBU:54
SG: 1044
FG: 1011
Brew Date: 19/01/2015
ABV: 4.4%
