Looking good PD, just make sure you don't use more than the prescribed 3 hop cones

Sounds like fun PD,

I tried Moose Drool when my son lived in Montana and its pretty good, certainly worthy of cloning/simulating.

Good luck with it.

Mash on at 68C after one or two disturbances 90 minute rest now and I bet nobody knocks at door, rings the phone because I'm free for a while.....

Underlet with my strike water of 13 litres plus 7 litres to fill the space under the false bottom, dont want the grains sitting high and dry during the mash.

Well the day went well with no untoward problems....and the sun came out.... :D

I boiled it 10 mins longer than I set out ( total 95 mins ) as I'd got a litre and a bit too much volume, ended up with 20 litres at 1055 ( Brix 13.5 )
My target was 20 litres at 1054, so quite pleased with my results.
Should give me around 5.8 or 6% abv. certainly didn't taste bad with my unconventional hops...time will tell.

N.B.S Ale yeast from the Malt Miller re-hydrated and added at 4.0pm, and by 8.0pm its bubblin away in the brew fridge.....

final racking and put back in fridge 10c due to time constrint, will be bottled in next couple of days. abv a respectable 5.6%...

also put 19L of makeson into a corny gassed at 20psi abv = 5%
