just finished boiling ag#2 an american brown ale that i designed in the brewmate program

went as follows
a total of 6kg of grain

48% Golden Promise Malt 3kg
32% Maris Otter Malt 2kg
16% Crystal 90 1kg
4% Flaked Corn 250g

0.9 g/L Marynka (7.4% Alpha) @ 0 Minutes (First Wort)20g
1.1 g/L Magnum (14.5% Alpha) @ 60 Minutes (Boil) 25g
0.9 g/L Marynka (7.4% Alpha) @ 15 Minutes (Boil)20g
0.9 g/L Fuggles (5.7% Alpha) @ 0 Minutes (Aroma)20g

just waiting for it to cool but im hoping for 5% plus with this much grain

this leaves it very bitter i know but I'm all about the hops

Well done :thumb: I find Brewmate easy to use. What are the Marynka like?

the mash and the boil were both 60 min.
The first batch of the marynka,s went as fwh prior to the magnums in the boil.
Its currently bubbling away like some sort of deranged creature sitting there in the corner.
The marynkas have an alpha acid value of 7.4% so hopefully added a bit of bitter but as for the taste and smell, we will see. The fuggles i usedd barely added any aroma to ag#1 so im tempted to dry hop some marynkas to see what sort of a nose they will give. Fresh out of the bag they smelt good.
