The start of a big stocking-up push before things get silly early next year.

On the cards for brewing before the end of the year are this one, a Marc Ollosson Dark Island Clone, another Pittsy's Hefeweizen and an elderberry spiked version of Aleman's Effin Oatmeal Stour. 40 litres of each.

So for tomorrow - UNTILTED.

Hi, hope your brewday went well.

Just finished a pale ale today using Galaxy hops. Normally I throw a 30-50g after flame out but didn't this time cos I read Galaxy can be pungent; how do you find them?

Ha ha! I was just starting the thread for today...

...mash on and kitchen smelling like horlicks. Happy...

Perfect Mash! :D

Pre boil gravity bang on, pre boil volume bang on.

Mash efficiency 75.1%. Nice.

Today's only pic...

Nice easy brew day (at least where the brewing was concerned), all targets nailed, just waiting to see if I get the right volume to FV...

The beer was the easy bit!

Fitting in making mincemeat, racking 6 gallons of wine, bottling one, cooking the tea AND being on weekend support was the bugger...

...that and I ripped a grain bag.

I'm putting in a big order with Rob this week, want me to collect yours?

Cool, just make sure he knows I'm picking it up.

You tried those two single hop pales yet?

Tested and tasted. 1.011 which gives me 5.4%. The galaxy dry hop is starting to take hold... Yum!
