AG#10 Portside

Grain Bill


3180g Pale Malt
255g Acid Malt
180g Sugar
60g Black Malt

Hops

32g Challenger 60min
6g Fuggles in secondary FV
1tsp Irish Moss 10 min

Mash at 66 for 90min
Boil for 60min, add a pinch of gypsum at start
Add 180g sugar to boil

Spent grain, this will come fishing with me tonight :D

Yeast
Muntons Gervin Ale
Ferment at 20c

Enjoying a pint of Edme stout whilst getting temps up for the boil
 
Looks good :thumb: I've never used acid malt, is there a particular reason for using it?
 
Just transferred this to the second FV, and added the dry hops.

SG was 1040 and the reading today is 1012, Im hoping this will drop to around 1008-1010

nice one mate. do u use the spent grain for groundbait? I have been doing that with fresh and spent grain for a while fishing for trout and they are all for it!

Yes if i have time to get to a lake before it does mouldy then i will use it for Carp fishing :D
May aswel feed it to the fish, and make them bigger
