I’m nearing the end of my Barrelator build and now looking at beer lines. I’ve read a few threads on the subject and on-line articles and have arrived at a beer line length of 3 feet (3/16 line) using the Brewers friend formula. A test pour gave me 1/2 pint in 20 seconds. Does that sound right? I’m serving from a King Keg with a float tube connected to a standard beer post.

It sounds a bit slow but if your happy with how it pours and the carbonation level I wouldn't change anything.

I'd guess pulling a pint from my kegerator would take about 40 secs so doesn't seem unreasonable. Better to start with it too long as you can always trim it down to find the sweet spot rather than pouring foam from the outset.

Ha! Two king kegs in a tall fridge... I like that...I'm going to order a few kegs but was thinking about the chilling side of things..

Two King Kegs indeed @Clint ! Fit nicely in my beer fridge in the conservatory, set at a nice 12 degrees C. There’s room for a few “tailor mades” as well!

Currently in the process of moving the taps to the outside so I don’t have to bend to pour a beer :laugh8:. Hence the request for advice on beer line lengths.
