Adding Hops after cooling

Can anybody advise if there is any reason why hops cannot be added to the wort after cooling but before aeration / pitching of yeast ? As totally forgot to add them at the end of boil and have now cooled everything

Chuck them in the fermenter, they will be good, I do it all the time, its called dry hopping.

Yep, in the fermentor with them, you will get much more aroma from them.

Thanks guys did that this morning, fingers crossed also got some live yeast from Northumberland Brewery, so should be a good one.....
