accidentally turned my immersion heater off...

Had to move my homebrew into the garage the other day as we needed the spare room clear for estate agents to take some pics to sell it.

Anyway i forgot to turn the heater on once i'd moved it into the garage

Probably been about 36 hours without it on, in an unheated garage, will i need new yeast or should it recover?

heat it back up to 21C and it will start going again. How long through fermentation were you? You may have trouble if it was close to the end.

about a week into it, but its a Festival kit which normally take 3 weeks or so, so hopefully will be ok.

I agree with AWM, you should have no problem once it's back up to temp!

You will be fine. Get it up to temp then if it still not going 24hrs later rouse the yeast.
