It is my good lady wife's 40th today, so we had a big family and friends party for her yesterday.

I had two full cornies of beer to take along. One with a pale ale, the other with a mid-brown ale.

Must have been 40+ pints of my homebrew was consumed by various guests  :drink: :drink: :drink:

A good indication of its success was that my father in law provided 24 bottles of rather expensive speciality ales, and only one was drunk

So I came back with two much lighter cornies, and lots of hearty compliments on my beer

Oh, my Mrs had a fab time, the weather was ace, the BBQ went really well, and it was a great day! :drink:

Well done that man. I had a similar result years ago with a home made wine. I made 5 gals of mixed fruit (@17% abv  ) and took it to my sisters do and it went faster than the "real" wine

Only trouble was that was me out of wine for a while
