Hi

I've just finished brewing my second wherry and after weeks in bottles it's a really nice brew>

however i prefer my ales to be 4.5% + but can't seem to get my wherry any strong than 4.0.

Would be grateful for any advice on how to get a bit more kick into my next brew - i suppose i could just try less water!

thanks

Spot on, brew it short, to about 20-21 litres. That way you will keep the body but increase the abv.
