A small question about my first brew

Hi got my first brew on yesterday after reading alot on the forum. THANKS TOO ALL Now less than 24 hours my airlock keeps blowing the top off and foam keeps coming out of the top. I know air is not getting back into the brew because of the foam and pressure from the lid (or at least thats my theory)..I took a couple of pints out of the tap but it still does it (dont wanna waste too much :shock: lol)..

My question is is this normal and ok if i keep fitting and cleaning.

Otherwise fit a blow off tube from your air lock into a jug with a small amount of water in.
