A friend phoned me yesterday to ask if I was still into making homebrew as his dad was clearing out his garage and had some homebrewing equipment he didnt want anymore. Woundered if I was interested.
Went up tonight and collected :
1 Clear D.j
1 dark brown D.j
40 Ltr barrel
A box of bits and pieces including :
A filter kit!
brushes and sythons etc...
Lots of old school labels which are really cool :thumb:
A couple of books with little bits of paper inside with beer and wine recipies written on them and Some old school advitising leaflets with hints 'n' tips for homebrewers.
A few different chemicals which were binned, as they had a best before date of June 1985 :rofl:
It was a real blast from the past as all the price tickets were from Boots and Woolworths! Very resonable prices too I thought at 75p for six packets of yeast
I'm chuffed as it reminded me of my dad when he used to make stuff. And chuffed as I now have a filter kit plus lots of other gooddies that has doubled my kit, and it cost me nought!
