Hi,

I have a barrell of beer that i barelled on 19/1 - i have worked my way through a fair bit even though it has only just cleared

I have 20 pints left in there, but I need the barrell for another brew

I havent admitted any air

Can I bottle the rest from the barrell?
Would I need to prime the bottles?

cheers!
Neil

if it's already carbonated, it should be ok to transfer to bottles... you might lose a little carbonation on the way though. no need for sugar if it's already carbonated, and to be honest, there's probably not much viable yeast left now to be able to prime.

oxidation might be an issue as there wont be any yeast left in the bottles to mop up the air thats left in the bottles... it maybe worth giving each bottle a blast of co2 before filling (from say another tap at the bar hooked up to the gas line or an empty cornie full of co2) to push out the air in the bottles (air is lighter than carbon dioxide) :thumb:
