Hello!

I did an all grain brew the other day using my standard equipment. Recently I have built a emersion chiller out of 8mm copper pipe. I have test boiled and chilled and cleaned the copper before my first brew however after tasting a sample of my finished cooled wort I noticed a notable copper metalic twang?

Will this be in my final beer? Has anyone else found this problem? Here's hoping not!

D :wha:

never noticed a problem. People use copper as it shouldnt affect the product. Was it particularly old copper you used?

No, its new copper, maybe some oxidation occurred and I didn't manage to clean it properly. ??
