No, but you were talking about primary fermentation. I usually leave for 2-3 weeks although primary is over within 4 days most of the time
Correct, primary fermentation period was the first thing I talked about.
However it's not that which is really important, it's leaving your beer to rest after the primary has finished which is important, which was the second point I made, and something both of us apparently recognize.
 
My second ever batch has been in the barrel for 4 weeks. 1 week indoors then the last 3 in the garage. Poured a glass and it is clearer than my first batch which I didn't cold crash.
Progress is good.:)
Going for the 2+2+2 philosophy for St Peters Honey Porter and being brave with 90g of muscovado :)
