A bit of a bargain, but how does this work

I had a call yesterday from someone who knew I had been looking for beer and wine making equipment, so today I went round there and got my hands on a whole load of stuff, for the princely sum of fifty quid. 8 demijohns, 2 brewing buckets, 3 large 4" cap fermenters, funnels hydrometers, syphon, straining bags, dozens of bits and bobs and loads of bungs, corks, a corker, bottles, airlocks, you name it. Result!
However, included in the sale was a pot still (see last picture). The lady's ex-husband had dabbled in making gin. Now, before anyone tells me off, I know that making moonshine is illegal and can produce dangerous, even lethal products. However, using a still other than for the production of alcohol or fuel is perfectly legal. So, say I or the wife decided to use this contraption for said legal activities, can anyone tell me if this looks complete and give me a brief instruction on its use, please?

Interesting. Is it UK law or forum rules you're going by?
Here in NZ it's legal to distill your own spirits as long as you're not selling the product. Home brew shops have lots of gear alongside the brewery equipment...

UK homebrew shops sell the kit as well. You're just not allowed to use it....!!!???

I think you will find it is not illegal to sell the kit as it can be used to distil water in the UK but to distil spirits is.
The rules are forum rules as to discuss the use of the equipment or use of it for distilling spirit is illegal in the UK and we would not like to be seen to condone it, hope that clears it up

My Klarstein has the same clamps, I should measure and see if the still kit for the brewzilla also fits.

Might depend on which model Klarstein you have but I have both a 35l brewzilla and a klarstein (the 30l Maischfest I think) and the lids aren't the same size. Annoyingly, there's only a few mm in it.

Can i remind members again discussing distilling or the kit used for distilling is against the rules.
