60 minute boiling time

What a brilliant idea, but I think sh(ts)mbo might bitch up!

I boil for 60 mins, I use 2 elements to reach boiling point then switch to 1, then alternate them every 15 mins to keep the boil going!
Beers turn out great, plus it saves on electric! :thumb:

When yus say you alternate the elements do you mean you change from to the other or do you bring the second element into play to boost the boil.
I think probably the latter.

Once I've achieved the hot break I turn one of the elements off, the boil continues vigorously enough to achieve the hop bitterness required!

To give each element a break I share the work load, 15 mins each....I also brew 10 gallon batches!
