not long now until the 6 nations kicks off.

i am having some friends over for the first match. wales england. its going to be close, too close to call. wales should start as favourites, just, as it is in the millenium. i have a few friends coming over, english and welsh. it should be a good night and i expect my home brew will take a bigger kicking than a scrum half at the bottom of a ruck.

i have 20 liters of brew clearing in the shed at the moment. it should be very quaffable by 4th feb.

my choice for this years winners. :wha: france but no grand slam. i expect scotland to do well, england too. i can see ireland having a bit of a mare this year. italy might bring a bit more of a threat but i cant see them winning a match. wales will end 2nd or 3rd

good luck to your team, brewers. heres to another cracking tournament :drink:

Something I look forward to every year :thumb:

But Friday night matches  nope, Saturdays rugby day always will be, will tolerate the odd Sunday game but historically Friday nights for other things

fridays, youre right, Baz. this is wales' third friday night. weve had 2 against france

itll be a late night but a good hangover cure the next day. im going to drag the duvet downstairs and watch two rugby tests. i will be cheering on my celtic cousins. i expect ireland to win easily in rome but the scots have a daunting first match against a very dangerous france.

Yep Looking forward to the kick off, Hoping for an improvement from Wales this season. Saw some promise from the dragons during the autumn internationals, although I think France are going to be even more impressive this year, Lievremont has been working on developing a solid core of talented players (with more in depth) over several very disappointing seasons with the intention of going to the world cup and doing well.

I wish I could say the same for Gatland

Not a great fan of the odd shaped ball, but do love the Six nations.

Will always shout for the Irish, but think its going to France, England, Ireland, Wales, Scotland or Italy for last

Here's to some upsets :drink:

Disaster - Wales never play well on Friday nights, lost to France the last couple of years. looks like another commiseration brew is on the cards :( . and I'll have to find a new picture for the label.
