I've spent over 30 years believing that Timothy Taylors Landlord is the best draught beer on the planet. I've visited Hawkshead's brewery bar at Stavely a few times recently. Last weekend I tried thier Cumbian 5 hop..............It's the best draught beer on the planet :thumb:
The bottled has a higher gravity and I didn't enjoy it quite as much.

All I need now is a recipe

I have never been impressed with TT but then all draft beer is dependent on how well it is kept. :hmm:

Wish I could turn the clock back 30 odd years to when Marsdens and Bass were on form. :(

I know what you mean, especially Bass. I would also add Green King Abbot to the list.

I grew up in Sleaford the Bass Maltings were there, bass is one of my all time favourites... well old bass.

Seems there are a few of us that remember when Bass was a great pint. The last one I drank was several years ago so hate to think what it's like now.
