Kicked off a Wilko Pilsner today - nothing spectacular or difficult about that...
But hoping for a reasonable result on my 2nd kit brew with:
- Half a campden tablet to dechlorinate the tap water
- Rehydrating the yeast
- Using beer enhancer as well as dextrose
- Brewed slightly short (corrected SG of 1044)
- More realistic (longer) timings for each stage

All of these things I've picked-up thanks to this forum & the members sharing their experience

I bottled the same brew 2 weeks ago. It cleared very quickly in the fv and was almost bright when it went into the bottles.
The funny thing is that it seems slower to clear after the second ferment in the bottles.
I'll taste one next week and let you know how it is. :thumb:
