Hi,

Sorry If I sound stupid but normally after 1st fermentation has finished I syphon my brew into my pressure barrel adding priming sugar for bulk priming ( this has a tap ) then bottle it straight away with a little bottler

Am I correct or wrong that I could syphon it from one fermenter to another and leave it for a few days/week, then bottle with priming sugar/drops to help it clear better

Sorry if this sounds stupid, but as mentioned above I normally go straight to bottle

Thanks

You could if you want to but make sure you fit an airlock. Another method if you have temp control is to "cold crash" it for a day or so at just above freezing.

I do have 2nd fermenting bucket spare.

So best to secondary for about a week before priming and bottling?

Thanks
