I have a 15l stock pot and will use this to do my boiling, my question is when ive cooled the wort as quickly as posible and transfer it to my fv with the remaining water in do i just por it in or do i syphon it into the fv so any waste matter is left in the bottom of the stock pot. cheers Abi

yeah do your best to leave as much of the **** in the pot, if you can get somonee to hold a sieve while you pour the beer in it will be better.

cheers thanks for advice, abi

you shouldnt have any **** brewing a kit, let some splashing about to hapen so there is some air in the mix for the yeast to work

theres likely to be some sort of '****' at the bottom from the grains and the hops if brewing extract, might not be much, it will all drop out during fermentation but best to keep as much of it in your pot.
