1st Friday pint!

Not on call this weekend so the 1st beer is going down well,
Tonight's brew is 1/2 pint Citra gold 7.3% topped up with Galaxian smash 4.3%

Am on my 3rd pint of coopers english bitter infused with oranges. A mild but drinkable 3.4% straight out the barrel. Serving into a metal tankard tonight, very nice if i do say so myself.

My first pint tonight (that i've just finished) was an alcoholic lemonade drink (shop bought ) and was very nice , it tasted just like traditional lemonade with a kick , never had before but will again . Beer next :thumb:

That's sounds good, how did you do the infusion? :

Nothing too clever, brewed the kit as normal then as it was slowing down stirred in 2 large oranges that had been through the liquidiser. Its more a citrus twang to it than a strong orange flavour but i think a bit different and goes down well!

I'm an Effin Oatmeal Stout down and just opened a bottle of my Mandarina Bavaria Pale...

...not too shabby and there's a definite hint of Mandarins...

Had a couple of Adnams Spindrift at lunch. Called POETS, went to a bar that only sells mahou on tap. Had 1 pint and had to leave. Couldn't drink that carp, now on my apa :thumb:
